I Made You You, And I CAN Destroy You

1980 – 2006

In the heart of imagination’s endless expanse lies a universe woven from the tapestry of thirteen autobiographical tales, each penned with the ink of experience, the brushstrokes of memory and painted in various colors. These narratives, originally birthed between the years of 1999 and 2006, sprout from the fertile soil of a consciousness shaped by the rustic rhythms of village life, the bustling corridors of high school in town and the allegorical landscapes of the journeys around and inside different villages.

The inception of this universe can be likened to the gradual dawn of a new day, where tendrils of light pierce through the darkness, illuminating the dormant seeds of narrative waiting to bloom. In the village, where time moves at its own unhurried pace, the storyteller’s spirit finds solace and purpose amidst the simplicity of rural existence and less of external connections. Here, beneath the shade of old walnuts and amidst the gentle whispers of the grandmother, the first inklings of tales take root. Life unfolds like a well-worn path, lined with the footprints of own life and vision and the echoes of philosophy, religion and traditional culture. The village becomes the house of formative experiences, where the storyteller’s senses are honed by the sights, sounds, smells and the events of daily life. Each interaction, whether with friends, neighbours and family serves as food for the colourful and flourishing imagination.
